Community Care Nursing
Whether you need a gentle hand to help you quickly recover from an accident, or more long-term treatment at home, our personalised service provides Nurses with all the skills for whatever you need, for now and for your needs in the future.
Community Participation
At Advocating Care Services we understand the need for participant’s community engagement, hence our support is designed to enable expansion of your social circles and friendships. You have the choice to participate one on one or in a group setting as per your interests.
Support Coordination
Advocating Care Services makes sure you get the best value from your NDIS plan by connecting you to high quality support services, meeting both your needs and your budget. We put you in control and give you the flexibility you need to get the most from your plan.
Specialised Behaviour Support
We work with and support individuals with psychosocial disability to recognise, reflect and take responsibility of their own recovery. Our specialists support people to help achieve and maintain mental wellbeing and develop resilience.
Assistance with Personal Activities (High-Intensity)
Our disability care services provides you with skilled and experienced care workers who help our members with their high-intensity needs. In addition, our dedicated health professionals assist with all levels of higher intensity support needs.
Assistance with Life Stage, Transition
At Advocating Care Services we excel at helping NDIS participants through life stage transitions. With proper planning and networking, we can support you through life’s transitions and on to achieving your goals.
Assistance with Travel/Transport
We can provide assistance for clients to access taxis, rideshares, community vehicles, and other appropriate transport methods. At Advocating Care Services, we can also help you develop skills in using public transport independently.
Daily Tasks/Shared Living
Our expert staff will support you in every way, be it teaching you to live with others while ensuring you can fulfill your responsibilities around the home, assisting you with your move into a new house or even assisting you with Daily Tasks.
Household Tasks
We support our participants to lead active lives, supporting them outside as well as inside the home. We want to provide you with the most compatible staff for your desired lifestyle. Our specialist care includes a full range of daily living tasks whether it is housework, shopping, or managing finances.
Group/Center Activities
Encouraging and enabling group activity is at the core of our philosophy. At Advocating Care Services, we promote group activities to help individuals living with disabilities build their social skills, gain extra support from their peers and develop trust in others.
Assistance with Animals
Our friendly local teams of pet care specialists offers flexible pet care services. Everyone is background checked, fully insured and pet first aid trained for your complete peace of mind – and of course, they love all things pets and animals!
Specialised Disability Accommodation
Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) is a form of housing that is designed to enable eligible National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants to receive the support they need to live in the community and improve the delivery of their supports.
